What is a “Promoter”?
A Promoter is someone who works within their community (often voluntarily) to present live events and / or films.
Promoters are supported by the Arts Alive team every step of the way to ensure the events they put on are as successful as possible. We can work with you to establish an audience, choose events and films that will be well-received in your community and much more!

Interested in hosting live events?
Our financial schemes subsidise a fabulous selection of professional drama, bands, dance shows and children’s shows enabling smaller venues to be able to host events that otherwise would be out of reach.
Interested in screening films?
Flicks in the Sticks is the cinema scheme of Arts Alive. We offer a wide and diverse range of films, screening films in local community spaces.
Some venues have their own screening equipment and some venues use the Flicks’ Touring Service. Whichever category you fit into, if you’re interested in hosting film events in your community, please get in touch by completing the form below…
