Welcome To The Orchard Of England
A heritage film made in Leominster about apples and local traditions, commissioned by Leominster Priory with National Lottery Heritage funding. It premiered at Borderlines last February (selling out two screenings). This award-winning documentary brings together a wide-ranging and eccentric cast of local people – farmers, Travellers, former apple-pickers, clergymen, wassailers, cider makers, fruit sellers – to explore the deep relationship between the people of Herefordshire and its historic crop.
