Starring Alain Delon as a man of dangerous magnetism in one of his first prominent roles, René Clément’s Plein Soleil (1960) is a psychological thriller set amidst the alluring small-town landscape of the Italian coast. A dark tale of betrayed friendships and stolen identities, it is a classic of French and world cinema.
