Flicks Advisor (comments from our film promoters)

'The story' itself managed to draw in a pretty good audience on a lovely early summer evening and at the end of the night there were many very favourable comments about the film received from that audience.

Dramatic, taut story. Tom Hanks was excellent in an understated way.

With Tom Hanks it's almost a given it will be good - and this is. With some of the effects reminding one of 9/11, one might wonder if this would affect the audiences' impressions but it stands alone as an extraordinary story of skill by the pilots and the efficiency of the on board staff to ensure that everyone was evacuated safely.
