Dark Horse The Incredible True Story Of Dream Alliance (PG)

This is a terrifically enjoyable true story about a group of friends from a workingmen's club in the Valleys who decide to breed themselves a racehorse. Amazingly the horse they raised on the allotments in Cefn Forest takes them on a roller coaster journey to the top of the racing world. Following their dream the bar maid, ex-miners and pensioners mix with Countesses and Sheikhs in the owners enclosure at Aintree. They’re a hugely likeable crew who tell their story with broad smiles on their faces, still barely able to believe how a horse gave hope to their whole village. "Funny, inspiring - with a round of applause at the end." Flicks Promoter

Dark River (15)

After receiving news of her father's death, Alice, a young travelling sheep-shearer, tentatively decides to return to the dilapidated family house of her childhood, in muddy North Yorkshire. Surprisingly, it's been already fifteen years since Alice left behind an ailing dad and her older brother, Joe, to wander about from farm to farm; however, this cold and heavy homecoming will be Alice's last chance to reclaim the land she believes was once promised to her. But, now, on one hand, there's Joe's resentment paired with a rancorous rivalry between siblings - while, on the other hand - fleeting mournful shadows of a troubled past permeate the walls of an imperfect prize. What will it take to keep the haunting memories at bay?

Darkest Hour (PG)

Within days of becoming Prime Minister of Great Britain, Winston Churchill must face one of his most turbulent and defining trials: exploring a negotiated peace treaty with Nazi Germany, or standing firm to fight for the ideals, liberty and freedom of a nation. As the unstoppable Nazi forces roll across Western Europe and the threat of invasion is imminent, and with an unprepared public, a skeptical King, and his own party plotting against him, Churchill must withstand his darkest hour, rally a nation, and attempt to change the course of world history.

Dunkirk (2017) (12a)

Evacuation of Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire, Canada, and France, who were cut off and surrounded by the German army from the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk, France, between May 26- June 04, 1940, during Battle of France in World War II.
